Korea -- Dodd's Rangers

The Dodd's Rangers were brave men!
Col. Dodd, the Regimental Commander organized a Ranger Platoon of volunteers to go behind company lines to spy on the enemy. Some did not make it back but the rest would go the next night. The man on the right was due to go home and he went on a mission the night before and fortunately made it back so he was able to do go home. Very dangerous missions. They put their shoe strings on their boots different each night so their buddies could recognize them by feeling. The hole in the tent above the sandbags is from a Bomb Schrapnel! I wish I had written down the names of all of the men I served with in Korea and Saipan. If anyone recognizes these men, please let me know!
