I received this medal and letter from the President of the Republic of Korea in acknowledgement of their appreciation for our service in the Korean War. This was sent out on the fifty year anniversary of the end of the war. It is nice to receive that recognition by a foreign country in a time when America's involvement around the world is not always appreciated or valued.
